A New Drama Serial A  A  A

In India we have no shortage of TV drama serials. They are a large source of entertainment for the country. However, in case you are still not satisfied with the high number of serials available, I have a new one for you. It is called: 'The US Government Manufactures a Financial Crisis'.

Think of the US government as one large extended family living in the same house. The Democrats are one branch of the family and Republicans are the other branch. They hate each other, but must work together and compromise in order to be successful.

In the past, the two branches of this extended family have mostly worked together, and so the house has become bigger and stronger. But in recent years, this has not been the case. The Republican branch of the family has decided that compromise is a bad idea. They have decided that they will burn down the house unless all their demands are met. Essentially, they have turned into the political equivalent of a suicide bomber.

As you can see, we have all the ingredients for a successful drama serial. Which branch of the family will get their way? Will the house actually burn down? Even if it doesn't burn down, how much of it will be destroyed due to this infighting? And what will happen to the neighboring houses (i.e. other countries) along the street if the US house burns down

All these questions will be answered over the days and weeks to come. Unlike most Indian TV serials, this serial moves quickly, and events can occur on any day at any time. The best part about this new serial is that it is totally unscripted. And certain characters behave irrationally, so you never know what is going to come next.

So sit back and enjoy this new drama as it unfolds. There is only one disclaimer. If the US actually decides to burn its house down, then please take shelter. This is because the US house has a significant impact on all the houses on the street, including your own. And also because this drama serial is not actually a drama serial, it is reality.

Dear Assad,
Ultimately US(Democrats and Republicans) is trying follow the principles of the world's biggest democracy(India).
Anyway, our financial magicians are trying to import foreign currency(begging FIIS).
All the business media is doing all the magic talks of export boost ups and the govt is not doing enough to give a booster injection.
Our oil drilling companies are going out of business.
Reliance's MD have recently signed contract with BP in London, which proves that reliance/indians do not know how to extract oil.
This is how our fate is written.

We have a similar family drama going on India, except that instead of two teams we have many, each vying to outsmart the other for self(India) destruction.

Interesting piece. I will modify the last sentence - this drama serial is not actually a drama serial, it is a reality horror show and the horror will be close to the end of the show when the audience will become part of the show as affected outsiders of the house. And the horror will be real.
