The Indian automobile industry is often seen as a key indicator of the country's economic health, thanks to its role in driving growth and innovation.

Two-wheelers lead the market in volume, fuelled by a growing middle class, a young population, and rising demand in rural areas. Commercial vehicles are also seeing strong demand as logistics and passenger transport services expand.

India is also becoming a significant player in auto exports, with promising growth opportunities on the horizon.

Auto stocks have experienced consistent upward momentum lately, with Samvardhana Motherson International being a notable participant in this positive trend.
