Moving forward, City Union Bank had signed a quadripartite agreement, as a business partner with Centific Global Solutions Inc (Technology Partner - AIDF), SASTRA University (Knowledge Partner) and nStore Retech Ltd (Implementation Partner) for the Establishment of a Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence for Banking (CoE/AIDF).
The bank will participate in the initiative as a Business Partner, providing domain expertise, industry insights and support for the development and testing of AI-based solutions relevant to banking operations.
City Union Bank's digital roadmap focuses on customer-centric innovation, product expansion, and technology-led automation to enhance convenience, security, and scalability across banking services.
It also introduced layered authorisations for corporate and Joint Account Payments.
During Q3, City Union Bank received multiple national-level awards recognizing its digital transformation, advanced analytics, and AI-led initiatives across banking operations.
The bank plans to gradually scale up its digital offerings to secure retail lending, including housing loans and microloans against property. These segments will be key areas of growth in the coming quarters.

City Union Bank shares have dropped 13.5% over the past month.
In the past year, the shares have been up 50%.
The stock touched its 52-week high of Rs 319.95 on 3 February 2026 and its 52-week low of Rs 147 on 7 April 2025.
