Apr 1, 2021

Bharti Airtel, one of India's biggest companies, seems to be on the revival path.

While the growth in recent years is nothing to write home about, the future seems brighter than ever.

But are the valuations running ahead of fundamentals or the stock still seems reasonably priced from a long term perspective?

Let us find out in the video.

Here's more on value investing:

Rahul Shah co-head of research at Equitymaster is the editor of (Research Analyst), Editor, Microcap Millionaires, Exponential Profits, Double Income, Midcap Value Alert and Momentum Profits. Rahul has over 20 years of experience in financial markets as an analyst and editor. Rahul first joined Equitymaster as a Research Analyst, fresh out of university in 2003 but left shortly after to pursue his dream job with a Swiss investment bank. However, he quickly became disillusioned working for the 'financial establishment'. He learned first-hand the greedy stereotype of an investment banker is true and became uncomfortable working for a company that put profit above everything else. In 2006, Rahul re-joined Equitymas ter to serve honest, hardworking Indians like his father, who want to take control of their financial future - and not leave it in the hands of greedy money managers. Following the investment principles of Benjamin Graham (the bestselling author of The Intelligent Investor) and Warren Buffet (considered the world's greatest living investor), Rahul has recommended some of the biggest winners in Equitymaster's history.

Nice and simple explanation! Love the Socrates analogy at the start and the flow into defining investing and then explaining intrinsic value!

He ie. Rahul Shah has made it very simple and I do agree with his opinion. He made a very nice comparison with the help of data to prove his point. However, I would like to look into the qualitative aspects as well as managements approach. Most important part which one should look in to is "Vision of the company" and the second part is “ whether the company completes the task they declare”( The company auditors are expected to comment on above aspect ). If this thing is happening consistently buy it. I also liked one statement made by Shri Rahul shah that one should study on his own and invest. All in all nice presentation by Shri Shah.

This is very good Rahul. More such videos on SBI, CIPLA, Tata Consumer etc. will help.
