India's petcare industry is growing at a rapid pace.

The industry was valued at US$ 3.6 billion (bn) in 2024. It is now projected to nearly double to about US$ 7 bn by 2028, according to Redseer Strategy Consultants. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated pet adoption, especially among the younger urban population.

Online sales of pet products and services have surged, growing by 95% year-on-year (YoY). There is rising demand for organic, hypoallergenic pet foods, smart pet devices, and accessories.
