Indian benchmark indices traded negative throughout the session and ultimately closed red.

Indian equity benchmarks indices, Sensex and Nifty50 pared a significant amount of losses from day's lows in the second half of the trade as defence stocks provided some relief. Traders also assessed the geopolitical situation in West Asia.

Please note markets remained closed on Tuesday, 14 April 2026, on account of Ambedkar Jayanti.

At the closing bell on Monday, the BSE Sensex  closed lower by 702 points (down 1.2%)

Meanwhile, the NSE Nifty closed 208 points lower (down 0.9%)

ICICI Bank, NTPC, Axis Bank are among the top gainers today.

Maruti Suzuki, TCS, HDFC Bank on the other hand, were among the top losers today.

The BSE 150 Midcap index is trading 0.7% lower and the SE 250 SmallCap index is trading 0.4% lower.

Sectoral indices were trading mixed on Monday with stocks in telecommunication sector and power sector witnessed buying. Meanwhile, stocks in auto sector and oil & gas sector witnessed selling pressure.

Lupin Launches Generic Diabetes Drug in US

Lupin Limited has launched its Dapagliflozin Tablets (5 mg and 10 mg) in the United States after receiving approval for its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The product is a bioequivalent version of Farxiga and will be marketed in line with the approved prescribing information. Dapagliflozin is used to treat Type 2 Diabetes, along with certain cardiovascular and kidney-related conditions.

This launch supports Lupin's ongoing expansion in the U.S. generics market and enhances its footprint in the oral anti-diabetic segment. Lupin operates globally, with a presence in over 100 markets and a portfolio spanning branded and generic formulations, complex generics, biotechnology products, and active pharmaceutical ingredients.

Swaraj Engines Q4 Results

Shares of Swaraj Engines came into focus after the company reported its Q4 FY26 results.

Swaraj Engines Limited reported a strong performance in Q4 FY26, with net profit rising about 20% to Rs 545.6 million (m) from Rs 454.2 m a year earlier.

Revenue also grew by around 20% to Rs 5,457.9 m compared to Rs 4,542 m in the same quarter last year.

The company sold 55,004 engines during the quarter, up from 45,594 units a year ago. It maintained consistent growth throughout FY26, marking its sixth consecutive year of higher sales and profits.

The company also achieved its highest ever annual engine sales, reaching the 200,000-unit mark for the first time, with Q4 FY26 recording the best quarterly sales performance.

The board has proposed a dividend of Rs 110 per share for FY26. The record date is 3 July 2026, and payment will be made after 20 July 2026, once approved.

Just Dial Q4 FY26 Results

Shares of Just Dial came into focus after the company reported its Q4 FY26 results.

Revenue increased 6.2% year-on-year to Rs 3,072 m.

EBITDA stood at Rs 888 m, with a strong margin of 28.9%, showing a 3.2% rise. Net profit stood at Rs 1,000 m.

User traffic during the quarter was 182.4 m visitors. This was slightly lower than last year (down 4.7%) and marginally down from the previous quarter (down 1.2%). Most users (85.7%) accessed the platform via mobile, followed by 11.5% on desktop and 2.8% through voice.

The platform had 54.7 m active listings as of 31 March 2026, growing 12.1% year-on-year and 3.6% quarter-on-quarter, with about 1.88 m new listings added during the quarter. Out of these, 41 m listings were mapped with location data, showing strong growth of 25.4% YoY. The total number of images reached 256.3 m, up 12.8% YoY.

Customer engagement also improved, with total ratings and reviews reaching 157.1 m, up 2.9% YoY. Active paid campaigns stood at 631,530, growing 3% compared to last year.
