Indian benchmark indices traded positive throughout the session and ultimately closed green.

Indian equity benchmarks indices, Sensex and Nifty50 rose on fag-end buying, with PSU bank, financial, and auto stocks providing support. Risk sentiment also improved as US President Donald Trump said that peace talks are on with Iran after Tehran and Israel stopped exchanging strikes.

At the closing bell on Tuesday, the BSE Sensex  closed points 395 higher (up 0.5%)

Meanwhile, the NSE Nifty closed 119 points higher (up 0.5%)

Bharti Airtel, Bharat Elec, Tech Mahindra ere the top gainers today.

NTPC, Tech Mahindra, Bharti Airtel on the other hand, were among the top losers today.

The BSE 150 Midcap index is trading 1.2% higher and the BSE 250 SmallCap index is trading 1.3% higher.

Baring IT sector and utilities sector all other sectoral indices were trading positive ion Tuesday with banking sector and realty sector witnessed buying.

Speaking of stock markets, Richa Agarwal Research Analyst at Equitymaster highlights that AI has emerged as a major risk for legacy IT companies.

This concern is reflected in the sharp correction in the BSE IT, which has declined over 20%.

Fino Payments share price will be in focus today.

Shares of Fino Payments Bank came into focus after the company released its May business update.

Fino Payments Bank reported a strong business update for May 2026, with growth across deposits, customers, and loan referrals.

Marsons share price will be in focus today.

Shares of Marsons came into focus after the company received an order from West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company for the repairing, inspection, and testing of 50 MVA, 132/33 KV power transformers, including transportation to and fro.

RVNL Secures New Railway Signalling Deal

Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) came into focus after the company announced that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) worth Rs 2.21 billion (bn) from South East Central Railway for signalling modernization works in the Bilaspur Division.

The project involves replacing old panel interlocking systems with modern electronic interlocking systems and installing related signalling equipment both inside stations and outside along the tracks. It also includes building optical fibre cable huts, signalling and telecommunication service buildings, electrification of these structures, and laying cables across several connected railway sections covering multiple stations.

The work is planned to be completed within 730 days. The company has stated that this is not a related-party deal, and neither its promoters nor promoter group have any interest in the contract.

RVNL is a Government of India-owned company that develops railway infrastructure projects across the country. As of March 2026, the Government holds a 72.84% stake in the company.

HCLTech Launches AI Innovation Zone Collaboration

HCLTech has launched an AI Innovation Zone in Santa Clara, California, in partnership with Google Cloud. This facility will help global companies develop and scale AI applications more easily.

The zone uses Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise platform and focuses on building advanced AI systems, including autonomous AI workflows, robotics-based solutions, and real-world industry use cases that can improve business results.

The center is designed to help HCLTech and its clients design, test, and deploy AI solutions faster and move toward "agentic enterprises," where AI can handle complex tasks on its own.

This initiative builds on the expanded partnership between HCLTech and Google Cloud announced earlier in March. It combines Google Cloud's AI technology with HCLTech's industry expertise to help companies adopt AI at an enterprise level and achieve measurable outcomes.

SML Mahindra Reports May Sales Increase

Shares of SML Mahindra came into focus after the company reported an 11.64% year-on-year increase in commercial vehicle (CV) sales to 1,678 units in May 2026, compared with 1,503 units sold in May 2025.

The company produced 1,729 commercial vehicles in the month, which is 6.86% higher than 1,618 units produced in the same period last year.

Exports also saw strong growth, rising 122.50% to 89 units in May 2026 compared to 40 units in May 2025.

SML Mahindra, formerly known as SML Isuzu, is engaged in manufacturing and selling commercial vehicles and related parts.
