US stock market ended lower on Monday as investors awaited for earnings reports due from major technology companies later in the week.

Speaking of stock markets, Tanushree Banerjee, Research Analyst at Equitymaster, highlights that tollbooth monopoly stocks are facing rising regulatory risks that could weaken their strong moats.
She notes that changes like market coupling are challenging platforms such as IEX. The main risk is not earnings, but valuation de-rating due to reduced pricing power.

Bajaj Healthcare reported revenue from operations of Rs 1,656 million in Q1 FY27, registering a growth of 11.3% YoY and 8.2% sequentially. Gross profit increased 16.2% YoY to Rs 804 million, with gross margin improving to 48.3% compared to 46.2% in Q1 FY26.
EBITDA grew 16.4% YoY to Rs 296 million, with EBITDA margin improving to 17.8% from 17.1% in the same period last year. Profit after tax increased 15.8% YoY to Rs 137 million, while PAT margin stood at 8.3%.
The company's Domestic API business performed strongly, with revenue increasing around 27% YoY to Rs 923 million from Rs 726 million in Q1 FY26. Growth was driven by higher volumes across key products.
API exports reported revenue of Rs 501 million compared to Rs 522 million in Q1 FY26. The performance was temporarily impacted by geopolitical disruptions in the West Asia region.
The Formulations business recorded revenue of Rs 233 million compared to Rs 241 million in Q1 FY26, reflecting a temporary slowdown. Management expects the segment to recover as FY27 progresses.
BlueStone Jewellery and Lifestyle, a digital-first direct-to-consumer jewellery brand, reported a strong start to FY27 with healthy growth across key business metrics.
The company recorded 49% YoY growth in retail sales, with revenue increasing to Rs 7,330 million, driven by a broader product portfolio and stronger customer engagement.
Growth was supported by robust same-store sales growth (SSSG) of 39%, which improved compared to Q4 FY26, despite the increase in gold customs duty from 6% to 15%. Older store cohorts continued to deliver strong performance, highlighting the potential for higher revenue per store as the network matures.
BlueStone expanded its customer base by 21% YoY, while repeat customers contributed to higher average order values (AOV), supporting overall revenue growth.
The company continued to benefit from operating leverage, with EBITDA margin improving by 354 bps YoY to 15%. After achieving its first full year of reported profitability in FY26, BlueStone maintained its positive earnings momentum in Q1 FY27.
Adjusted net profit stood at Rs 140 million in Q1 FY27 compared to an adjusted net loss of Rs 210 million in the same quarter last year.
