Shares of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) came into focus after the company reported its Q1 FY27 results.
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) reported a strong rise in profitability for the quarter, with net profit increasing 14% year-on-year to Rs 41.23 billion (bn) from Rs 36.17 bn.
Revenue grew 7% to Rs 679.42 bn, compared with Rs 636.79 bn in the corresponding quarter last year.
However, EBITDA declined 3% to Rs 61.16 bn from Rs 63.18 bn, leading to a 90-basis-point contraction in EBITDA margin to 9.0% from 9.9%.
On the operational front, the company reported robust order momentum, with group order inflows rising 14% year-on-year to Rs 1,080 bn from Rs 944.53 bn.
L&T's consolidated order book stood at Rs 7,790 bn, up 5% from March 2026, providing healthy revenue visibility for the quarters ahead.
Shares of Tata Capital came into focus after the company reported its Q1 FY27 results.
Tata Capital reported a strong performance for the quarter ended June 2026, with net profit rising 56.3% year-on-year to Rs 15.47 bn, compared with Rs 9.90 bn in the corresponding quarter last year.
Total revenue (sales) increased 15.1% to Rs 88.22 bn from Rs 76.65 bn, reflecting healthy growth in the company's lending and financial services business.

Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL) are likely to remain in focus after the company secured an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract worth Rs 3.58 bn from East Central Railway.
The project involves doubling the 41-km Sitamarhi-Raxaul rail section under the Samastipur Division, including the construction of bridges, stations, platforms, earthwork, and other associated civil infrastructure.
According to the company's regulatory filing, the domestic contract is scheduled to be completed within 1,095 days.
