Gold prices for the latest contract on MCX are trading 0.9% higher at Rs 1,49,828 per 10 grams.

Shares of Berger Paints came into focus after the company reported its Q1 FY27 results.
Berger Paints reported a 21% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June. The company's net profit rose to Rs 4.04 billion in Q1FY27.
Revenue grew 12.1% year-on-year to Rs 35.84 billion during the June quarter. Meanwhile, EBITDA increased 15% to Rs 6.07 billion, with the operating margin remaining steady at 17%.

Shares of PB Fintech came into focus after the company reported its Q1 FY27 results.
PB Fintech reported a 92.4% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June. The company's net profit rose to Rs 1.63 billion in Q1FY27 from Rs 0.85 billion in the corresponding period last year.
Revenue grew 40.1% year-on-year to Rs 18.88 billion, compared with Rs 13.48 billion in the same quarter last year.
Meanwhile, EBITDA increased to Rs 1.39 billion from Rs 0.34 billion a year ago, with the EBITDA margin improving to 7.37% from 2.54%.
Shares of Cummins India came into focus after the company reported its Q1 FY27 results.
Cummins India reported a 0.9% year-on-year increase in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 6.09 billion in Q1 FY27, although it declined 6.2% sequentially.
Net sales rose 17.9% YoY and 13.8% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to Rs 34.26 billion in the June quarter, while total income increased 17.2% YoY and 12.9% QoQ to Rs 35.63 billion.
Meanwhile, total expenditure climbed 22.8% YoY and 18.3% QoQ to Rs 28.62 billion. Raw material costs increased 17.9% YoY to Rs 20.94 billion, employee expenses rose 16.9% YoY to Rs 2.33 billion, interest costs jumped 47.2% YoY to Rs 0.04 billion, and depreciation increased 9.7% YoY to Rs 0.53 billion.
