SGX Nifty Trades 103 Points Lower; Indicates Negative Opening for Indian Stock Markets

The SGX Nifty opened on a negative note today.

At 8:00 am, it was trading down by 103 points, or 0.8% lower at 12,643 levels.

Trends on SGX Nifty indicate a negative opening for Indian stock markets.

Asian stock markets are trading on a negative note today. As of the most recent prices, the Nikkei is trading down by 0.9% and the Hang Seng is trading down by 0.7%.

US stock markets ended sharply lower on Thursday as the second wave of Covid-19 infections in US surged and investors weighed the timeline for the mass rollout of an effective vaccine.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended down by 1.08% while the Nasdaq fell 0.65%.

US stock futures are trading on a negative note today. Dow futures fell about 108 points while Nasdaq futures are trading flat.
