Sensex Trades Higher; Bharti Airtel & Reliance Top Gainers

Share markets in India are presently trading on a positive note. Sectoral indices are trading mixed with stocks in the healthcare sector witnessing maximum buying interest while metal stocks are witnessing selling pressure.

The BSE Sensex is trading up by 203 points (up 0.6%), while the NSE Nifty is trading up by 61 points (up 0.6%). The BSE Mid Cap index is trading down 0.3%, while the BSE Small Cap index is trading down by 0.2%.

The rupee is trading at Rs 71.77 against the US$.

In the latest development from the results corner, Pfizer share price is in focus today as the company has declared its September quarter results.

The company has reported 13.8% fall in its net profit at Rs 0.9 billion for the quarter as compared to Rs 1.1 billion for the same quarter in the previous year.
