3I Infotech Plunges 6%; BSE IT Index Down 0.3%

3I Infotech share price has plunged 6% and is presently trading at Rs 20.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 34,098.9 (down 0.3%).

Among the top losers in the BSE IT index today are TANLA SOLUTIONS (down 1.3%) and ROUTE MOBILE (down 1.3%).

PERSISTENT SYSTEMS (up 1.3%) and HCl Tech. (up 1.2%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, 3I Infotech has moved down from Rs 30.5 to Rs 20.1, registering a loss of Rs 10.4 (down 34.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved down from 42,189.3 to 34,098.9, registering a loss of 19.2% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were ROUTE MOBILE (down 50.8%), Sonata Software (down 42.7%) and Birlasoft (down 39.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,108.2 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Eternal Ltd (up 1.6%) and Indusind Bank (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Reliance Ind..

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,162.1 (up 0.3%). JIO FINANCIAL SERVICES and Eternal Ltd are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 82,497.1 to 82,108.2, registering a loss of 388.9 points (down 0.5%).

3I Infotech Financial Update...

3I Infotech net profit grew 188.5% YoY to Rs 76 million for the quarter ended June 2025, compared to a loss of Rs 85 million a year ago. Net sales declined 5.1% to Rs 1,706 million during the period as against Rs 1,798 million in April-June 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, 3I Infotech reported 108.1% increase in net profit to Rs 254 million compared to net loss of Rs 3,136 million during FY24. Revenue of the company fell 10.8% to Rs 7,258 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of 3I Infotech, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 5.9.
