AVT NATURAL Plunges 5%; BSE FMCG Index Up 0.2%

Meanwhile, the BSE FMCG index is at 19,361.0 (up 0.2%).
Among the top losers in the BSE FMCG index today are Gillette India (down 1.9%) and Shree Renuka Sugars (down 1.5%).
Godfrey Phillips (up 8.2%) and Zydus Wellness (up 5.1%) are among the top gainers today.
Over the last one year, AVT NATURAL has moved down from Rs 90.0 to Rs 70.5, registering a loss of Rs 19.5 (down 21.7%).
On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index has moved up from 19,205.7 to 19,361.0, registering a gain of 0.8% during the last 12 months.
The top gainers among the BSE FMCG index stocks during this same period were Godfrey Phillips (up 108.4%), GODREJ AGROVET (up 42.3%) and E.I.D. Parry (up 33.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 76,420.4 (up 0.4%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Tata Steel (up 1.9%) and ICICI Bank (up 0.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ZOMATO.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,093.1 (up 0.3%). Tata Steel and Hindalco are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 71,072.5 to 76,420.4, registering a gain of 5,347.9 points (up 7.5%).
AVT NATURAL Financial Update...
AVT NATURAL net profit fell 3.6% YoY to Rs 216 million for the quarter ended December 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 224 million a year ago. Net sales rose 12.1% to Rs 1,729 million during the period as against Rs 1,542 million in October-December 2023.
For the year ended March 2024, AVT NATURAL reported 31.2% decrease in net profit to Rs 533 million compared to net profit of Rs 774 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 11.1% to Rs 5,173 million during FY24.
The current Price to earnings ratio of AVT NATURAL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 23.9.
