Abbott India share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 29,103.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE HEALTHCARE index is at 44,605.3 (up 0.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE HEALTHCARE index today are IPCA Labs (up 5.1%) and Dr. Reddys (up 3.9%).

POLY MEDICURE (down 2.6%) and SUVEN PHARMACEUTICALS (down 2.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Abbott India has moved up from Rs 22,775.1 to Rs 29,103.1, registering a gain of Rs 6,328.0 (up 27.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE HEALTHCARE index has moved up from 30,593.9 to 44,605.3, registering a gain of 45.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE HEALTHCARE index stocks during this same period were Jubilant Pharmova (up 106.9%), Natco Pharma (up 89.9%) and Glenmark Pharma (up 88.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 79,248.6 (down 1.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finserv (down 2.4%) and Asian Paints (down 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,953.6 (down 1.0%). Bajaj Finserv and JSW Steel are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 71,315.1 to 79,248.6, registering a gain of 7,933.5 points (up 11.1%).

Abbott India Financial Update...

Abbott India net profit grew 14.6% YoY to Rs 3,586 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 3,129 million a year ago. Net sales rose 9.3% to Rs 16,327 million during the period as against Rs 14,941 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Abbott India reported 26.5% increase in net profit to Rs 12,012 million compared to net profit of Rs 9,494 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 9.4% to Rs 58,489 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Abbott India, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 48.1.
