BAJAJ STEEL share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 541.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 65,826.5 (down 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Honeywell Automation (up 2.9%) and L&T (up 0.9%).

Graphite India (down 1.1%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (down 1.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, BAJAJ STEEL has moved up from Rs 500.9 to Rs 541.0, registering a gain of Rs 40.1 (up 8.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved down from 73,474.3 to 65,826.5, registering a loss of 10.4% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Siemens (down 56.5%), ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 50.8%) and Finolex Cables (down 44.6%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 80,421.2 (down 0.5%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are HCl Tech. (down 2.1%) and Infosys (down 1.6%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and Eternal Ltd.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,622.0 (down 0.4%). Shriram Transport and HCl Tech. are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 81,698.1 to 80,421.2, registering a loss of 1,276.9 points (down 1.6%).

BAJAJ STEEL Financial Update...

BAJAJ STEEL net profit fell 78.9% YoY to Rs 74 million for the quarter ended June 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 351 million a year ago. Net sales declined 23.7% to Rs 1,075 million during the period as against Rs 1,410 million in April-June 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, BAJAJ STEEL reported 42.9% increase in net profit to Rs 843 million compared to net profit of Rs 590 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 6.1% to Rs 5,848 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BAJAJ STEEL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 19.9.
