BATLIBOI Gains 9%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 0.1%

BATLIBOI share price has zoomed 9% and is presently trading at Rs 98.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 69,404.2 (up 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are BHEL (up 2.0%) and SKF India (up 1.1%).

Lakshmi Machine (down 1.6%) and Bharat Electronics (down 0.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, BATLIBOI has moved down from Rs 154.6 to Rs 98.0, registering a loss of Rs 56.6 (down 36.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 67,909.0 to 69,404.2, registering a gain of 2.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 55.7%), L&T (up 13.7%) and GMR Infra (up 13.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 84,593.9 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Reliance Ind. (up 1.7%) and Bharti Airtel (up 1.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,921.5 (up 0.5%). SBI LIFE INSURANCE and IOC are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 80,082.0 to 84,593.9, registering a gain of 4,511.9 points (up 5.6%).

BATLIBOI Financial Update...

BATLIBOI net profit fell 183.7% YoY to Rs -24 million for the quarter ended June 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 29 million a year ago. Net sales declined 26.1% to Rs 695 million during the period as against Rs 942 million in April-June 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, BATLIBOI reported 1.8% increase in net profit to Rs 135 million compared to net profit of Rs 132 million during FY24. Revenue of the company fell 0.6% to Rs 4,129 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of BATLIBOI, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 44.1.
