Bank of Maharashtra share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 56.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE BANKEX index is at 64,361.0 (down 0.3%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE BANKEX index today are Bank of Baroda (up 3.0%) and Federal Bank (up 2.1%).

Kotak Bank (down 1.3%) and ICICI Bank (down 0.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Bank of Maharashtra has moved down from Rs 64.7 to Rs 56.9, registering a loss of Rs 7.8 (down 12.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE BANKEX index has moved up from 60,149.9 to 64,361.0, registering a gain of 7.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE BANKEX index stocks during this same period were Kotak Bank (up 21.3%), Federal Bank (up 20.2%) and ICICI Bank (up 18.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 83,758.4 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Kotak Bank (down 1.3%) and Bharti Airtel (down 1.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Eternal Ltd.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,542.6 (down 0.4%). Tata Consumer Products and Dr. Reddys are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 78,674.3 to 83,758.4, registering a gain of 5,084.2 points (up 6.5%).

Bank of Maharashtra Financial Update...

Bank of Maharashtra net profit grew 22.6% YoY to Rs 14,934 million for the quarter ended March 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 12,179 million a year ago. Net sales rose 23.1% to Rs 67,308 million during the period as against Rs 54,667 million in January-March 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, Bank of Maharashtra reported 36.1% increase in net profit to Rs 55,418 million compared to net profit of Rs 40,718 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 21.7% to Rs 249,476 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Bank of Maharashtra, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 7.9.
