Blue Star share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 2,101.3.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 53,624.1 (up 1.0%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are WHIRLPOOL OF INDIA (up 3.1%) and VAIBHAV GEMS (up 1.8%).

Over the last one year, Blue Star has moved up from Rs 1,267.5 to Rs 2,101.3, registering a gain of Rs 833.8 (up 65.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 50,173.6 to 53,624.1, registering a gain of 6.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 101.2%), AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 84.9%) and Blue Star (up 65.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 74,711.3 (up 0.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are ICICI Bank (up 2.5%) and ZOMATO (up 2.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ZOMATO and Indusind Bank.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 22,681.1 (up 0.8%). ICICI Bank and Hindalco are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 72,761.9 to 74,711.3, registering a gain of 1,949.4 points (up 2.7%).

Blue Star Financial Update...

Blue Star net profit grew 32.7% YoY to Rs 1,332 million for the quarter ended December 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,004 million a year ago. Net sales rose 25.3% to Rs 28,074 million during the period as against Rs 22,412 million in October-December 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Blue Star reported 3.4% increase in net profit to Rs 4,143 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,007 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 21.4% to Rs 96,854 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Blue Star, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 77.5.
