Blue Star share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 2,141.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 53,532.3 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are Voltas (up 2.3%) and RAJESH EXPORTS (up 1.4%).

Titan (down 1.5%) and CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER ELEC. (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Blue Star has moved up from Rs 1,294.4 to Rs 2,141.1, registering a gain of Rs 846.7 (up 65.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index has moved up from 51,017.5 to 53,532.3, registering a gain of 4.9% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index stocks during this same period were DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 115.4%), Blue Star (up 65.4%) and AMBER ENTERPRISES INDIA (up 51.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 72,842.4 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Nestle (down 2.7%) and HCl Tech. (down 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ZOMATO and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 22,050.0 (down 0.3%). Bajaj Auto and Nestle are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 72,304.9 to 72,842.4, registering a gain of 537.5 points (up 0.7%).

Blue Star Financial Update...

Blue Star net profit grew 32.7% YoY to Rs 1,332 million for the quarter ended December 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,004 million a year ago. Net sales rose 25.3% to Rs 28,074 million during the period as against Rs 22,412 million in October-December 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, Blue Star reported 3.4% increase in net profit to Rs 4,143 million compared to net profit of Rs 4,007 million during FY23. Revenue of the company grew 21.4% to Rs 96,854 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Blue Star, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 79.0.
