CYIENT Gains 8%; BSE IT Index Up 2.4%

Among the top gainers in the BSE IT index today are Oracle Financial Services (up 4.8%) and Sonata Software (up 4.4%).
INDIAMART INTERMESH is among the top losers today.
Over the last one year, CYIENT has moved down from Rs 1,145.0 to Rs 966.0, registering a loss of Rs 179.0 (down 15.6%).
On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved down from 32,299.3 to 30,265.4, registering a loss of 6.3% during the last 12 months.
The top losers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were ROUTE MOBILE (down 49.9%), KPIT TECHNOLOGIES (down 34.9%) and HAPPIEST MINDS TECHNOLOGIES (down 32.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 78,052.3 (up 1.6%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Eternal Ltd (up 3.8%) and Tata Motors (up 3.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and Eternal Ltd.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,229.1 (up 1.6%). Eternal Ltd and Hindalco are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 75,157.3 to 78,052.3, registering a gain of 2,895.0 points (up 3.9%).
CYIENT Financial Update...
CYIENT net profit fell 22.5% YoY to Rs 995 million for the quarter ended December 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 1,284 million a year ago. Net sales declined 4.0% to Rs 18,485 million during the period as against Rs 19,264 million in October-December 2024.
For the year ended March 2025, CYIENT reported 7.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 6,483 million compared to net profit of Rs 7,028 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 3.0% to Rs 73,604 million during FY25.
The current Price to earnings ratio of CYIENT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 18.0.
