DCB BANK Share Price Up by 6%; BSE BANKEX Index Down 1.0%

DCB BANK share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 98.

Meanwhile, the BSE BANKEX Index is at 37,778 (down 1.0%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE BANKEX Index today is DCB BANK (up 5.7%).

ICICI BANK (down 0.6%) and CITY UNION BANK (down 0.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, DCB BANK has moved up from Rs 69 to Rs 98, registering a gain of Rs 30 (up 42.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE BANKEX has moved up from 22,306 to 37,778, registering a gain of 15,472 points (up 67.8%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE BANKEX Index stocks during this same period were SBI (up 113.4%), INDUSIND BANK (up 108.8%) and FEDERAL BANK (up 89.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 49,304 (down 0.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are NTPC (up 3.9%), ONGC (up 3.5%) and TATA STEEL (up 1.8%). Other gainers include POWER GRID (up 1.8%) and ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and ONGC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,900 (down 0.6%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include COAL INDIA (up 6.1%), IOC (up 4.8%) and NTPC (up 3.9%). Other gainers include ONGC (up 3.4%) and BPCL (up 1.9%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 31,443 to 49,304, registering a gain of 17,861 points (up 56.32%).

DCB BANK Financial Update...

DCB BANK net profit down at Rs 962 million for the quarter ended December 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 967 million a year ago. Operating income declined 3.2% to Rs 8.7 billion during the period as against Rs 9.0 billion in October-December 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, DCB BANK reported 32.6% increase in net profit to Rs 3.3 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.5 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 26.0% to Rs 30 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of DCB BANK, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 9.3x.
