Indian Stock Market Updates January 13, 2021

DLF Share Price Up by 6%; BSE REALTY Index Up 1.0%

DLF share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 284.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 2,719 (up 1.0%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE REALTY Index today is DLF (up 6.2%).

OMAXE (down 0.1%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (down 0.3%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, DLF has moved up from Rs 253 to Rs 284, registering a gain of Rs 31 (up 12.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY has moved up from 2,424 to 2,719, registering a gain of 295 points (up 11.4%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 47.8%), DLF (up 12.3%) and SOBHA (up 9.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 49,795 (down 0.2%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are M&M (up 4.1%), BHARTI AIRTEL (up 3.4%) and ONGC (up 2.6%). Other gainers include NTPC (up 2.3%) and ITC (up 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,653 . The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include M&M (up 4.7%), IOC (up 3.9%) and BHARTI AIRTEL (up 3.2%). Other gainers include BPCL (up 3.2%) and ADANI PORTS & SEZ (up 3.0%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,860 to 49,795, registering a gain of 7,935 points (up 18.04%).

DLF Financial Update...

DLF net profit down at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 59.1% to Rs 5.5 billion during the period as against Rs 13.4 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2018, DLF reported 1305.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 44.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.7 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 18.4% to Rs 67 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of DLF, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 28.2x.
