DLF Share Price Up by 6%; BSE REALTY Index Up 4.8%

DLF share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 295.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY Index is at 2,696 (up 4.8%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE REALTY Index today are DLF (up 6.1%) and INDIABULLS REAL EST (up 10.5%).

Over the last one year, DLF has moved up from Rs 256 to Rs 295, registering a gain of Rs 39 (up 14.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY has moved up from 2,454 to 2,696, registering a gain of 242 points (up 9.8%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE REALTY Index stocks during this same period were GODREJ PROPERTIES (up 44.0%), DLF (up 14.8%) and SOBHA (up 5.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 49,060 (up 0.7%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are L&T (up 2.2%), ONGC (up 2.0%) and RELIANCE IND. (up 1.8%). Other gainers include AXIS BANK (up 1.7%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and ONGC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,420 (up 0.9%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include GRASIM (up 4.7%), TATA MOTORS (up 4.2%) and SBI LIFE INSURANCE (up 2.5%). Other gainers include ONGC (up 2.2%) and ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 2.1%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,873 to 49,060, registering a gain of 7,187 points (up 16.84%).

DLF Financial Update...

DLF net profit down at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 59.1% to Rs 5.5 billion during the period as against Rs 13.4 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2018, DLF reported 1305.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 44.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.7 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 18.4% to Rs 67 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of DLF, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 29.1x.
