Eclerx Services Gains 7%; BSE IT Index Up 0.9%

Eclerx Services share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 4,336.2.

Meanwhile, the BSE IT index is at 34,492.0 (up 0.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE IT index today are Mphasis (up 2.1%) and CYIENT (up 1.9%).

TANLA SOLUTIONS (down 5.2%) and Firstsource Solutions (down 2.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Eclerx Services has moved up from Rs 2,998.1 to Rs 4,336.2, registering a gain of Rs 1,338.1 (up 44.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE IT index has moved down from 42,656.1 to 34,492.0, registering a loss of 19.1% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE IT index stocks during this same period were ROUTE MOBILE (down 54.2%), Birlasoft (down 43.5%) and Sonata Software (down 42.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 84,365.7 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Reliance Ind. (up 3.6%) and Bajaj Finserv (up 2.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Reliance Ind. and Eternal Ltd.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,841.5 (up 0.5%). Cipla and Reliance Ind. are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 81,501.4 to 84,365.7, registering a gain of 2,864.3 points (up 3.5%).

Eclerx Services Financial Update...

Eclerx Services net profit grew 26.3% YoY to Rs 1,416 million for the quarter ended June 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 1,120 million a year ago. Net sales rose 19.5% to Rs 9,346 million during the period as against Rs 7,819 million in April-June 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, Eclerx Services reported 5.8% increase in net profit to Rs 5,413 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,117 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 15.1% to Rs 33,659 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Eclerx Services, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 36.2.
