Elgi Equipments share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 507.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 69,207.6 (up 0.9%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Carborundum Universal (up 1.6%) and Siemens (up 1.5%).

TIMKEN INDIA (down 0.5%) and SCHAEFFLER INDIA (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Elgi Equipments has moved down from Rs 645.2 to Rs 507.8, registering a loss of Rs 137.4 (down 21.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved down from 69,622.1 to 69,207.6, registering a loss of 0.6% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were SKF India (down 59.5%), Siemens (down 56.1%) and Carborundum Universal (down 39.6%).

The BSE Sensex is at 85,016.0 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 2.2%) and Tata Motors (up 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 26,049.2 (up 0.6%). JSW Steel and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 80,109.9 to 85,016.0, registering a gain of 4,906.2 points (up 6.1%).

Elgi Equipments Financial Update...

Elgi Equipments net profit grew 27.7% YoY to Rs 1,180 million for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 924 million a year ago. Net sales rose 11.4% to Rs 9,680 million during the period as against Rs 8,689 million in July-September 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, Elgi Equipments reported 12.2% increase in net profit to Rs 3,502 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,121 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 9.1% to Rs 35,104 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Elgi Equipments, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 42.3.
