Escorts share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 3,716.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE AUTO index is at 60,066.4 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE AUTO index today are Ashok Leyland (up 0.9%) and MRF (up 0.5%).

Cummins India (down 1.0%) and Bajaj Auto (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Escorts has moved down from Rs 3,849.0 to Rs 3,716.6, registering a loss of Rs 132.4 (down 3.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE AUTO index has moved up from 58,318.4 to 60,066.4, registering a gain of 3.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE AUTO index stocks during this same period were Eicher Motor (up 49.6%), TVS Motors (up 33.5%) and Maruti Suzuki (up 28.9%).

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 81,050.0 to 82,093.3, registering a gain of 1,043.3 points (up 1.3%).

Escorts Financial Update...

Escorts net profit grew 39.6% YoY to Rs 3,695 million for the quarter ended June 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 2,646 million a year ago. Net sales declined 2.9% to Rs 25,001 million during the period as against Rs 25,737 million in April-June 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, Escorts reported 19.2% increase in net profit to Rs 11,241 million compared to net profit of Rs 9,430 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 4.5% to Rs 102,439 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Escorts, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 33.2.
