FINOLEX CABLES Share Price Up by 5%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 0.0%

FINOLEX CABLES share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 302.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 17,251 .

Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today are FINOLEX CABLES (up 5.3%) and KALPATARU POWER (up 8.1%).

NBCC (INDIA) (down 0.4%) and BHARAT ELECTRONICS (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, FINOLEX CABLES has moved down from Rs 363 to Rs 302, registering a loss of Rs 61 (down 16.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved down from 17,804 to 17,251, loss of 553 points (down 3.6%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were LAKSHMI MACHINE (up 33.4%), HAVELLS IND (up 24.8%) and AIA ENGINEERING (up 13.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 44,825 (up 0.5%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are ONGC (up 4.3%), ICICI BANK (up 1.9%) and SBI (up 1.8%). Other gainers include BAJAJ AUTO (up 1.4%) and HDFC BANK (up 1.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ONGC and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,146 (up 0.5%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include ONGC (up 3.9%), TATA MOTORS (up 2.1%) and ICICI BANK (up 2.0%). Other gainers include GRASIM (up 2.0%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 1.9%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,889 to 44,825, registering a gain of 3,936 points (up 9.44%).

FINOLEX CABLES Financial Update...

FINOLEX CABLES net profit down at Rs 350 million for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 806 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 46.3% to Rs 3.8 billion during the period as against Rs 7.0 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2018, FINOLEX CABLES reported 14.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 2.6 billion compared to net profit of Rs 3.0 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 8.0% to Rs 29 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of FINOLEX CABLES, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 13.0x.
