GMR POWER & URBAN share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 104.4.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 62,285.9 (up 0.9%).

Among the top losers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ABB (down 0.7%) and Carborundum Universal (down 0.7%).

GMR POWER & URBAN Financial Update...

GMR POWER & URBAN net profit fell 132.3% YoY to Rs -377 million for the quarter ended December 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 1,168 million a year ago. Net sales rose 46.1% to Rs 16,115 million during the period as against Rs 11,028 million in October-December 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, GMR POWER & URBAN reported 109.5% decrease in net profit to Rs -1,112 million compared to net profit of Rs 11,710 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 18.6% to Rs 44,890 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GMR POWER & URBAN, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 4.2.
