GRAPHITE INDIA Share Price Up by 6%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Down 0.3%

GRAPHITE INDIA share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 321.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index is at 20,177 (down 0.3%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index today is GRAPHITE INDIA (up 6.4%).

L&T (down 0.1%) and HAVELLS INDIA (down 0.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GRAPHITE INDIA has moved up from Rs 316 to Rs 321, registering a gain of Rs 5 (up 1.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS has moved up from 17,067 to 20,177, registering a gain of 3,110 points (up 16.6%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index stocks during this same period were HAVELLS INDIA (up 86.4%), HONEYWELL AUTOMATION (up 41.9%) and LAKSHMI MACHINE (up 40.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 48,387 (down 1.9%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TECH MAHINDRA (up 2.6%), ITC (up 1.5%) and POWER GRID (up 1.1%). Other gainers include ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 1.0%) and HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 0.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and TECH MAHINDRA.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,238 (down 1.9%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TECH MAHINDRA (up 2.6%), SBI LIFE INSURANCE (up 2.0%) and WIPRO (up 2.0%). Other gainers include ITC (up 1.3%) and NESTLE (up 0.9%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,115 to 48,387, registering a gain of 7,272 points (up 15.36%).

GRAPHITE INDIA Financial Update...

GRAPHITE INDIA net profit declined 78.3% YoY to Rs 760 million for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 4 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 36.4% to Rs 4.1 billion during the period as against Rs 6.4 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, GRAPHITE INDIA reported 234.6% increase in net profit to Rs 34.5 billion compared to net profit of Rs 10.3 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 138.8% to Rs 79 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GRAPHITE INDIA, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 25.5x.
