GUJ. STATE PETRONET Share Price Up by 10%; BSE OIL & GAS Index Up 1.5%

GUJ. STATE PETRONET share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 243.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS Index is at 13,527 (up 1.5%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS Index today are GUJ. STATE PETRONET (up 10.4%) and INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 10.0%).

CASTROL INDIA (down 0.3%) and RELIANCE IND. (down 0.6%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, GUJ. STATE PETRONET has moved up from Rs 219 to Rs 243, registering a gain of Rs 24 (up 3.7%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS has moved down from 15,127 to 13,527, loss of 1,600 points (down 11.0%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE OIL & GAS Index stocks during this same period were RELIANCE IND. (up 25.6%) and INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 23.1%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are NTPC (up 2.3%), BAJAJ AUTO (up 2.1%) and MARUTI SUZUKI (up 1.5%). Other gainers include BAJAJ FINANCE (up 1.3%) and L&T (up 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and ONGC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 13,035 (up 0.1%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA MOTORS (up 3.8%), NTPC (up 2.4%) and GAIL (up 2.0%). Other gainers include EICHER MOTOR (up 1.9%) and BAJAJ AUTO (up 1.7%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,889 to 44,407, registering a gain of 3,518 points (up 8.18%).

GUJ. STATE PETRONET Financial Update...

GUJ. STATE PETRONET net profit stood at Rs 2 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a profit of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 4.9% to Rs 6.0 billion during the period as against Rs 6.3 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended March 2018, GUJ. STATE PETRONET reported 34.6% increase in net profit to Rs 6.7 billion compared to net profit of Rs 5.0 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 29.6% to Rs 13 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of GUJ. STATE PETRONET, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 11.6x.
