Guj. State Petronet share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 311.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS index is at 28,131.2 (down 0.1%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS index today are GUJARAT GAS (up 3.6%) and BPCL (up 0.9%).

ADANI TOTAL GAS (down 1.0%) and Reliance Ind. (down 0.8%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Guj. State Petronet has moved down from Rs 347.0 to Rs 311.5, registering a loss of Rs 35.5 (down 10.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS index has moved up from 26,544.4 to 28,131.2, registering a gain of 6.0% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE OIL & GAS index stocks during this same period were Indraprastha Gas (up 24.7%), BPCL (up 22.8%) and Reliance Ind. (up 22.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 85,260.4 (down 0.4%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Eternal Ltd (down 1.2%) and ICICI Bank (down 1.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Eternal Ltd and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 26,056.5 (down 0.5%). Bharat Electronics and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 79,043.7 to 85,260.4, registering a gain of 6,216.6 points (up 7.9%).

Guj. State Petronet Financial Update...

Guj. State Petronet net profit fell 9.2% YoY to Rs 4,008 million for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 4,414 million a year ago. Net sales rose 1.1% to Rs 42,064 million during the period as against Rs 41,590 million in July-September 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, Guj. State Petronet reported 25.0% decrease in net profit to Rs 16,374 million compared to net profit of Rs 21,837 million during FY24. Revenue of the company fell 0.1% to Rs 166,721 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Guj. State Petronet, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 11.1.
