HCC Plunges 20%; BSE REALTY Index Up 1.4%

HCC share price has plunged 20% and is presently trading at Rs 20.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE REALTY index is at 7,008.6 (up 1.4%).

Among the top losers in the BSE REALTY index today are MAHINDRA LIFESPACE (down 1.2%) and SUNTECK REALTY (down 1.0%).

OBEROI REALTY (up 2.2%) and PRESTIGE ESTATES (up 2.1%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, HCC has moved down from Rs 45.8 to Rs 20.7, registering a loss of Rs 25.2 (down 54.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE REALTY index has moved down from 8,240.3 to 7,008.6, registering a loss of 14.9% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE REALTY index stocks during this same period were Brigade Enterprises (down 29.5%), Godrej Properties (down 26.1%) and SUNTECK REALTY (down 24.5%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 85,482.7 (up 0.3%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (up 1.6%) and Bajaj Finserv (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Motors and Eternal Ltd.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 26,105.6 (up 0.3%). Shriram Transport and Bajaj Finance are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 80,845.8 to 85,482.7, registering a gain of 4,637.0 points (up 5.7%).

HCC Financial Update...

HCC net profit grew 14.2% YoY to Rs 500 million for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 438 million a year ago. Net sales declined 31.7% to Rs 9,607 million during the period as against Rs 14,069 million in July-September 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, HCC reported 78.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,126 million compared to net profit of Rs 5,294 million during FY24. Revenue of the company fell 20.0% to Rs 56,034 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HCC, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 10.9.
