HEG Gains 10%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 0.6%

HEG share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 572.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 70,652.7 (up 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are Graphite India (up 6.9%) and AIA Engineering (up 2.2%).

Finolex Cables (down 2.9%) and Carborundum Universal (down 0.9%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HEG has moved up from Rs 445.4 to Rs 572.7, registering a gain of Rs 127.3 (up 28.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 70,113.6 to 70,652.7, registering a gain of 0.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were Bharat Electronics (up 41.0%), SCHAEFFLER INDIA (up 17.4%) and GMR Infra (up 17.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 83,250.3 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Bajaj Finance (down 7.0%) and Bajaj Finserv (down 6.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Eternal Ltd and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,486.1 (down 0.4%). Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 79,541.8 to 83,250.3, registering a gain of 3,708.6 points (up 4.7%).

HEG Financial Update...

HEG net profit grew 119.9% YoY to Rs 1,361 million for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 619 million a year ago. Net sales rose 23.2% to Rs 6,992 million during the period as against Rs 5,676 million in July-September 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, HEG reported 63.1% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,151 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,117 million during FY24. Revenue of the company fell 9.8% to Rs 21,597 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HEG, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 42.9.
