HIMADRI SPECIALITY CHEMICAL Share Price Down by 7%; BSE 500 Index Up 0.5%

HIMADRI SPECIALITY CHEMICAL share price has plunged 7% and is presently trading at Rs 44.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 19,652 (up 0.5%).

HIMADRI SPECIALITY CHEMICAL Financial Update...

HIMADRI SPECIALITY CHEMICAL net profit down at Rs 167 million for the quarter ended December 2019, compared to a loss of Rs 844 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 27.0% to Rs 4.3 billion during the period as against Rs 5.9 billion in October-December 2018.

For the year ended March 2019, HIMADRI SPECIALITY CHEMICAL reported 31.0% increase in net profit to Rs 3.2 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.5 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 16.9% to Rs 24 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HIMADRI SPECIALITY CHEMICAL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 8.0x.
