HINDUSTAN COPPER share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 512.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 42,001.9 (up 0.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Hindustan Zinc (up 1.6%) and SAIL (up 0.7%).

Jindal Steel (down 0.2%) and Coal India (down 0.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HINDUSTAN COPPER has moved up from Rs 244.3 to Rs 512.9, registering a gain of Rs 268.6 (up 109.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 31,068.9 to 42,001.9, registering a gain of 35.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were Hindalco (up 48.0%), SAIL (up 38.1%) and Hindustan Zinc (up 35.9%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are M&M (up 1.9%) and Tata Motors (up 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are HDFC Bank and Tech Mahindra.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,581.5 (down 0.1%). APOLLO HOSPITALS and ITC are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 81,018.7 to 78,671.4, registering a loss of 2,347.3 points (down 2.9%).

HINDUSTAN COPPER Financial Update...

HINDUSTAN COPPER net profit grew 134.4% YoY to Rs 4,441 million for the quarter ended March 2026, compared to a profit of Rs 1,895 million a year ago. Net sales rose 58.1% to Rs 11,561 million during the period as against Rs 7,314 million in January-March 2025.

For the year ended March 2025, HINDUSTAN COPPER reported 58.1% increase in net profit to Rs 4,674 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,957 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 20.6% to Rs 20,710 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HINDUSTAN COPPER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 53.9.
