HITACHI ENERGY share price has zoomed 11% and is presently trading at Rs 19,955.6.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 6,868.1 (down 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE POWER index today are Thermax (up 2.5%) and ADANI ENERGY SOLUTIONS (up 1.1%).

Power Grid Corp. (down 2.4%) and ADANI POWER (down 1.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HITACHI ENERGY has moved up from Rs 13,812.4 to Rs 19,955.6, registering a gain of Rs 6,143.2 (up 44.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved down from 7,829.1 to 6,868.1, registering a loss of 12.3% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were Siemens (down 55.3%), Thermax (down 33.3%) and ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 30.8%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 83,766.0 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (down 2.4%) and Eternal Ltd (down 1.7%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Power Grid Corp. and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,693.1 (down 0.3%). Hero Motocorp and Tata Consumer Products are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 79,389.1 to 83,766.0, registering a gain of 4,376.9 points (up 5.5%).

HITACHI ENERGY Financial Update...

HITACHI ENERGY net profit grew 405.6% YoY to Rs 2,644 million for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 523 million a year ago. Net sales rose 17.9% to Rs 18,326 million during the period as against Rs 15,537 million in July-September 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, HITACHI ENERGY reported 134.4% increase in net profit to Rs 3,840 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,638 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 21.9% to Rs 63,849 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HITACHI ENERGY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 124.0.
