HITACHI ENERGY share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 21,700.0.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER index is at 6,506.8 (down 1.1%).

Among the top losers in the BSE POWER index today are BHEL (down 3.0%) and NTPC (down 2.1%).

KEC INTERNATIONAL (up 1.2%) and Power Grid Corp. (up 0.4%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, HITACHI ENERGY has moved up from Rs 12,233.6 to Rs 21,700.0, registering a gain of Rs 9,466.5 (up 77.4%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER index has moved down from 7,510.7 to 6,506.8, registering a loss of 13.4% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE POWER index stocks during this same period were Siemens (down 55.8%), Thermax (down 38.1%) and KEC INTERNATIONAL (down 32.0%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 84,914.0 (down 0.3%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Titan (down 2.2%) and NTPC (down 2.1%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Power Grid Corp. and Tata Motors.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,940.8 (down 0.4%). JSW Steel and Adani Enterprises are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 80,248.1 to 84,914.0, registering a gain of 4,665.9 points (up 5.8%).

HITACHI ENERGY Financial Update...

HITACHI ENERGY net profit grew 405.6% YoY to Rs 2,644 million for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 523 million a year ago. Net sales rose 17.9% to Rs 18,326 million during the period as against Rs 15,537 million in July-September 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, HITACHI ENERGY reported 134.4% increase in net profit to Rs 3,840 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,638 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 21.9% to Rs 63,849 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HITACHI ENERGY, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 134.9.
