Indian Stock Market Updates January 27, 2021

INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE Share Price Up by 5%; BSE POWER Index Down 0.9%

INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 245.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER Index is at 2,072 (down 0.9%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE POWER Index today is INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE (up 5.3%).

KALPATARU POWER (down 0.5%) and BHEL (down 1.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, INDIAN ENERGY EXCHANGE has moved up from Rs 180 to Rs 245, registering a gain of Rs 64 (up 35.5%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER has moved up from 1,952 to 2,072, registering a gain of 120 points (up 4.7%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE POWER Index stocks during this same period were RELIANCE INFRA (up 45.0%), ADANI TRANSMISSION (up 39.3%) and TATA POWER (up 28.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 48,387 (down 1.9%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TECH MAHINDRA (up 2.6%), ITC (up 1.4%) and POWER GRID (up 0.8%). Other gainers include ULTRATECH CEMENT (up 0.8%) and HCL TECHNOLOGIES (up 0.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and TECH MAHINDRA.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 14,238 (down 1.9%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TECH MAHINDRA (up 2.6%), SBI LIFE INSURANCE (up 2.0%) and WIPRO (up 2.0%). Other gainers include ITC (up 1.3%) and NESTLE (up 0.9%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 41,115 to 48,387, registering a gain of 7,272 points (up 15.37%).
