INDIAN METALS Gains 4%; BSE METAL Index Down 0.0%

INDIAN METALS share price has zoomed 4% and is presently trading at Rs 1,248.9.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 35,247.0 .

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are SAIL (up 1.7%) and Vedanta (up 0.4%).

Coal India (down 2.3%) and NMDC (down 1.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, INDIAN METALS has moved up from Rs 674.7 to Rs 1,248.9, registering a gain of Rs 574.3 (up 85.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 31,280.4 to 35,247.0, registering a gain of 12.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were JSW Steel (up 24.1%), Hindalco (up 23.1%) and Tata Steel (up 22.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 83,789.7 (down 0.2%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (down 2.4%) and Eternal Ltd (down 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Power Grid Corp. and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,701.4 (down 0.2%). Hero Motocorp and Tata Consumer Products are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 79,389.1 to 83,789.7, registering a gain of 4,400.7 points (up 5.5%).

INDIAN METALS Financial Update...

INDIAN METALS net profit fell 18.4% YoY to Rs 925 million for the quarter ended June 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 1,133 million a year ago. Net sales declined 3.1% to Rs 6,415 million during the period as against Rs 6,623 million in April-June 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, INDIAN METALS reported 10.2% increase in net profit to Rs 3,793 million compared to net profit of Rs 3,443 million during FY24. Revenue of the company fell 7.8% to Rs 25,646 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INDIAN METALS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 18.8.
