INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK Share Price Up by 7%; BSE BANKEX Index Up 1.6%

INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 22.

Meanwhile, the BSE BANKEX Index is at 42,755 (up 1.6%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE BANKEX Index today are INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK (up 6.9%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 7.4%).

Over the last one year, INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK has moved up from Rs 10 to Rs 22, registering a gain of Rs 12 (up 111.6%).

On the other hand, the BSE BANKEX has moved up from 25,107 to 42,755, registering a gain of 17,648 points (up 70.3%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE BANKEX Index stocks during this same period were SBI (up 130.7%), ICICI BANK (up 99.3%) and INDUSIND BANK (up 85.9%).

The BSE Sensex is at 59,061 (up 0.6%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are INDUSIND BANK (up 7.4%), ITC (up 6.9%) and SBI (up 3.2%). Other gainers include RELIANCE IND. (up 1.7%) and AXIS BANK (up 1.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and INDUSIND BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 17,604 (up 0.5%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include INDUSIND BANK (up 7.3%), ITC (up 7.2%) and SBI (up 3.2%). Other gainers include RELIANCE IND. (up 1.7%) and HERO MOTOCORP (up 1.6%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,757 to 59,061, registering a gain of 20,304 points (up 52.35%).

INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK Financial Update...

INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK net profit stood at Rs 3 billion for the quarter ended June 2021, compared to a profit of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Operating income declined 4.3% to Rs 40.6 billion during the period as against Rs 42.4 billion in April-June 2020.

For the year ended March 2021, INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK reported 109.8% decrease in net profit to Rs 8.3 billion compared to net profit of Rs 85.3 billion during FY20.

Revenue of the company grew 2.5% to Rs 170 billion during FY21.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 34.3x.
