INDRAPRASTHA GAS Share Price Up by 5%; BSE OIL & GAS Index Up 1.0%

INDRAPRASTHA GAS share price has zoomed 5% and is presently trading at Rs 445.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS Index is at 13,004 (up 1.0%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS Index today is INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 5.2%).

RELIANCE IND. (down 3.6%) is among the top loser today.

Over the last one year, INDRAPRASTHA GAS has moved up from Rs 427 to Rs 445, registering a gain of Rs 18 (up 4.3%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS has moved down from 15,315 to 13,004, loss of 2,311 points (down 15.6%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE OIL & GAS Index stocks during this same period were RELIANCE IND. (up 42.0%) and INDRAPRASTHA GAS (up 4.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 43,708 (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA STEEL (up 6.9%), AXIS BANK (up 4.1%) and ITC (up 4.0%). Other gainers include BAJAJ FINSERV (up 3.8%) and INFOSYS (up 3.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ITC and SBI.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 12,770 (up 1.0%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA STEEL (up 7.0%), HINDALCO (up 5.1%) and AXIS BANK (up 4.4%). Other gainers include ITC (up 4.1%) and EICHER MOTOR (up 4.0%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 40,345 to 43,708, registering a gain of 3,363 points (up 8.12%).

INDRAPRASTHA GAS Financial Update...

INDRAPRASTHA GAS net profit down at Rs 318 million for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 3 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 62.3% to Rs 6.9 billion during the period as against Rs 18.4 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, INDRAPRASTHA GAS reported 16.2% increase in net profit to Rs 7.6 billion compared to net profit of Rs 6.5 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 26.9% to Rs 64 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of INDRAPRASTHA GAS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 32.8x.
