JAYASWAL NECO share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 78.8.

Meanwhile, the BSE METAL index is at 34,221.5 (up 0.8%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE METAL index today are Hindalco (up 3.8%) and Vedanta (up 2.5%).

APOLLO TUBES (down 0.4%) and Jindal Steel (down 0.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, JAYASWAL NECO has moved up from Rs 45.3 to Rs 78.8, registering a gain of Rs 33.5 (up 74.0%).

On the other hand, the BSE METAL index has moved up from 32,665.0 to 34,221.5, registering a gain of 4.8% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE METAL index stocks during this same period were JSW Steel (up 15.9%), APOLLO TUBES (up 13.6%) and Tata Steel (up 12.2%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 84,010.9 (down 0.6%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Hindustan Unilever (down 3.5%) and Kotak Bank (down 2.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Power Grid Corp. and ITC.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,724.4 (down 0.7%). Hindustan Unilever and Cipla are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 81,151.3 to 84,010.9, registering a gain of 2,859.6 points (up 3.5%).

JAYASWAL NECO Financial Update...

JAYASWAL NECO net profit grew 407.3% YoY to Rs 1,051 million for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to a loss of Rs 342 million a year ago. Net sales rose 44.8% to Rs 17,810 million during the period as against Rs 12,301 million in July-September 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, JAYASWAL NECO reported 46.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 1,127 million compared to net profit of Rs 2,100 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 1.1% to Rs 59,997 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of JAYASWAL NECO, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 20.3.
