JINDAL STAINLESS Share Price Up by 13%; BSE METAL Index Up 3.0%

JINDAL STAINLESS share price has zoomed 13% and is presently trading at Rs 80.
Meanwhile, the BSE METAL Index is at 14,619 (up 3.0%).
Among the top Gainers in the BSE METAL Index today are JINDAL STAINLESS (up 12.8%) and TATA STEEL (up 5.2%).
Over the last one year, JINDAL STAINLESS has moved up from Rs 40 to Rs 80, registering a gain of Rs 40 (up 99.0%).
On the other hand, the BSE METAL has moved up from 8,072 to 14,619, registering a gain of 6,547 points (up 79.8%) during the last 12 months.
The top buzzing stocks among the BSE METAL Index stocks during this same period were HINDALCO (up 137.0%), SAIL (up 131.7%) and JINDAL STEEL & POWER (up 128.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?
The BSE Sensex is at 50,792 (up 1.0%).
The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA STEEL (up 5.2%), SBI (up 2.4%) and AXIS BANK (up 2.3%). Other gainers include HDFC (up 2.3%) and BAJAJ FINANCE (up 2.2%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are TATA STEEL and SBI.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 15,071 (up 1.0%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA STEEL (up 5.4%), JSW STEEL (up 3.5%) and HINDALCO (up 3.2%). Other gainers include SBI (up 2.7%) and ADANI PORTS & SEZ (up 2.7%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,144 to 50,792, registering a gain of 12,648 points (up 33.12%).
JINDAL STAINLESS Financial Update...
JINDAL STAINLESS net profit down at Rs 220 million for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 561 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 8.7% to Rs 29.0 billion during the period as against Rs 31.8 billion in January-March 2019.
For the year ended March 2018, JINDAL STAINLESS reported 611.5% increase in net profit to Rs 3.3 billion compared to net profit of Rs 457.0 million during FY17.
Revenue of the company grew 19.1% to Rs 118 billion during FY18.
The current Price to earnings ratio of JINDAL STAINLESS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 24.8x.
