J&K Bank Gains 8%; BSE BANKEX Index Up 0.4%

J&K Bank share price has zoomed 8% and is presently trading at Rs 120.1.

Meanwhile, the BSE BANKEX index is at 68,837.5 (up 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE BANKEX index today are IDFC FIRST BANK (up 3.5%) and Indusind Bank (up 3.0%).

HDFC Bank (down 1.3%) and AU SMALL FINANCE BANK (down 1.2%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, J&K Bank has moved up from Rs 100.1 to Rs 120.1, registering a gain of Rs 20.0 (up 19.9%).

On the other hand, the BSE BANKEX index has moved up from 55,431.2 to 68,837.5, registering a gain of 24.2% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE BANKEX index stocks during this same period were AU SMALL FINANCE BANK (up 82.1%), SBI (up 68.9%) and Federal Bank (up 65.3%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 82,248.6 .

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Eternal Ltd (down 1.3%) and HDFC Bank (down 1.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Eternal Ltd and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 25,496.1 (up 0.1%). Indusind Bank and Tata Motors are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 74,454.4 to 82,248.6, registering a gain of 7,794.2 points (up 10.5%).

J&K Bank Financial Update...

J&K Bank net profit grew 10.5% YoY to Rs 5,875 million for the quarter ended December 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 5,319 million a year ago. Net sales rose 3.3% to Rs 33,149 million during the period as against Rs 32,097 million in October-December 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, J&K Bank reported 17.5% increase in net profit to Rs 20,818 million compared to net profit of Rs 17,712 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 11.8% to Rs 125,411 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of J&K Bank, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 6.1.
