JK LAKSHMI CEMENT Share Price Down by 5%; BSE 500 Index Down 1.5%

JK LAKSHMI CEMENT share price has plunged 5% and is presently trading at Rs 300.

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,564 (down 1.5%).

Among the top losers in the BSE 500 Index today are JK LAKSHMI CEMENT (down 5.2%) and HERO MOTOCORP (down 6.2%).

JUST DIAL (up 7.7%) and THYROCARE TECHNOLOGIES (up 7.3%) are among the top gainers today.

Over the last one year, JK LAKSHMI CEMENT has moved up from Rs 290 to Rs 300, registering a gain of Rs 9 (up 3.2%)..

The BSE 500 has moved up from 14,996 to 15,564, registering a gain of 568 points (up 3.8%) during the last 12 months.

The top buzzing stocks among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 711.3%), LAURUS LABS (up 357.2%) and GRANULES INDIA (up 231.7%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 40,724 (down 1.6%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are NESTLE (up 2.3%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are POWER GRID and INDUSIND BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,943 (down 1.5%). NESTLE (up 2.3%) and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE (up 1.9%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,964 to 40,724, registering a gain of 1,760 points (up 2.80%).

JK LAKSHMI CEMENT Financial Update...

JK LAKSHMI CEMENT net profit down at Rs 444 million for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 492 million a year ago. Net Sales declined 17.9% to Rs 8.3 billion during the period as against Rs 10.1 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, JK LAKSHMI CEMENT reported 9.1% decrease in net profit to Rs 370.0 million compared to net profit of Rs 407.0 million during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 11.8% to Rs 43 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of JK LAKSHMI CEMENT, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 13.7x.
