The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Power Grid Corp. (up 4.0%) and Tata Motors (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Motors and Tata Steel.
In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 24,229.0 (up 0.3%). Power Grid Corp. and Trent are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.
Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 64,942.4 to 79,727.1, registering a gain of 14,784.7 points (up 22.8%).
Jaiprakash Asso. Financial Update...
Jaiprakash Asso. net profit fell 506.1% YoY to Rs -10,634 million for the quarter ended June 2024, compared to a loss of Rs 1,754 million a year ago. Net sales rose 16.9% to Rs 16,708 million during the period as against Rs 14,291 million in April-June 2023.
For the year ended March 2024, Jaiprakash Asso. reported 16.9% decrease in net profit to Rs -9,635 million compared to net loss of Rs 8,244 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 9.6% to Rs 65,681 million during FY24.
The current Price to earnings ratio of Jaiprakash Asso., based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at -0.8.
