Jindal Drill Gains 18%; BSE CAPITAL GOODS Index Up 1.6%

Jindal Drill share price has zoomed 18% and is presently trading at Rs 677.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 77,473.5 (up 1.6%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 5.5%) and Graphite India (up 5.0%).

TIMKEN INDIA (down 0.7%) and SKF India (down 0.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, Jindal Drill has moved up from Rs 621.1 to Rs 677.7, registering a gain of Rs 56.6 (up 9.1%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved up from 65,274.4 to 77,473.5, registering a gain of 18.7% during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were BHEL (up 74.0%), Bharat Forge (up 64.0%) and Graphite India (up 61.1%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 74,881.6 (up 0.4%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are Asian Paints (up 4.7%) and MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 3.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Eternal Ltd and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,490.2 (up 0.5%). Asian Paints and Adani Enterprises are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved down from 82,429.9 to 74,881.6, registering a loss of 7,548.3 points (down 9.2%).

Jindal Drill Financial Update...

Jindal Drill net profit fell 175.5% YoY to Rs -368 million for the quarter ended December 2025, compared to a profit of Rs 488 million a year ago. Net sales rose 0.9% to Rs 2,416 million during the period as against Rs 2,395 million in October-December 2024.

For the year ended March 2025, Jindal Drill reported 322.2% increase in net profit to Rs 2,159 million compared to net profit of Rs 511 million during FY24. Revenue of the company grew 34.2% to Rs 8,280 million during FY25.

The current Price to earnings ratio of Jindal Drill, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 10.1.
