KOTHARI SUGAR share price has zoomed 6% and is presently trading at Rs 44.7.

Meanwhile, the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index is at 60,461.7 (down 0.2%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CONSUMER DURABLES index today are VAIBHAV GEMS (up 3.0%) and Blue Star (up 0.8%).

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex today are MUNDRA PORT & SEZ (up 2.7%) and Indusind Bank (up 1.8%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are ZOMATO and Tata Steel.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 23,313.5 (up 0.4%). HDFC LIFE INSURANCE and Bharat Electronics are among the top gainers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 73,327.9 to 77,008.6, registering a gain of 3,680.6 points (up 5.0%).

KOTHARI SUGAR Financial Update...

KOTHARI SUGAR net profit grew 20.6% YoY to Rs 62 million for the quarter ended September 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 52 million a year ago. Net sales declined 10.2% to Rs 1,016 million during the period as against Rs 1,132 million in July-September 2023.

For the year ended March 2024, KOTHARI SUGAR reported 29.7% decrease in net profit to Rs 295 million compared to net profit of Rs 419 million during FY23. Revenue of the company fell 17.6% to Rs 5,027 million during FY24.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KOTHARI SUGAR, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 30.6.
