KSB share price has zoomed 7% and is presently trading at Rs 633.5.

Meanwhile, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index is at 55,703.7 (down 1.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index today are SCHAEFFLER INDIA (up 1.5%) and Lakshmi Machine (up 1.0%).

Finolex Cables (down 2.7%) and Carborundum Universal (down 2.4%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, KSB has moved down from Rs 793.8 to Rs 633.5, registering a loss of Rs 160.3 (down 20.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index has moved down from 57,207.7 to 55,703.7, registering a loss of 2.6% during the last 12 months.

The top losers among the BSE CAPITAL GOODS index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (down 59.9%), Graphite India (down 35.9%) and GRINDWELL NORTON (down 31.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 73,947.0 (down 0.9%).

The top losers among the BSE Sensex today are Indusind Bank (down 3.6%) and M&M (down 2.5%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are Tata Steel and ZOMATO.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 22,322.1 (down 1.0%). Indusind Bank and M&M are among the top losers in NSE NIFTY.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 72,790.1 to 73,947.0, registering a gain of 1,156.9 points (up 1.6%).

KSB Financial Update...

KSB net profit grew 32.2% YoY to Rs 689 million for the quarter ended December 2024, compared to a profit of Rs 521 million a year ago. Net sales rose 20.5% to Rs 7,264 million during the period as against Rs 6,026 million in October-December 2023.

For the year ended December 2023, KSB reported 14.2% increase in net profit to Rs 2,087 million compared to net profit of Rs 1,827 million during FY22. Revenue of the company grew 23.3% to Rs 22,472 million during FY23.

The current Price to earnings ratio of KSB, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 47.1.
